Employees are critical to organizational cybersecurity. Thus, we research how organizations promote employee motivation in cybersecurity with expert interviews. In the following, we describe the ethical considerations for this study.

First, we ask participants to consent to the interview being recorded. Hence, we can transcribe the recordings precisely to mitigate ambiguities. Subsequently, we delete the audio recordings. To protect our participants' privacy, we anonymize quotes and offer context by outlining their general demographics. Furthermore, participants can withdraw their consent anytime. Finally, we give participants the opportunity to correct their quotes.
